I would like to thank everyone for helping us with the loss of our Brother Michael. We all have been worried and upset. We didn’t expect him to leave us, but we all gave it to the lord and he wanted Michael for bigger and better things. May he rest in peace. He will always be remembered and truly missed. Not only was he our brother he was our freind. God bless everyone and thank you to everyone.
Louise and family, I am saddened and stunned at the loss of your brother. You are all in my prayers for God’s peace and comfort at this time and forward. It is very hard to lose a beloved brother
Mike will be missed he meant a lot to our family and my mom and grandkids gone but not forgotten
My memories of Michael and his family when we were closest is forever in my memory. My uncle and aunt would invite my oldest brother and I to come spend the night with them. It was one of my favorite things to do on weekends. I loved playing, talking, and hiking around the farm that they lived. Michael was a sweet and joking young man who grew up to be the same man and I enjoyed our talks at the reunions at Amicalola Falls each fall. He is going to be missed!
Michael will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. We were praying he would make it through this terrible illness and thought he was getting a little better and then we got the terrible news that he had passed away leaving a great void in all of our lives. While our hearts ache and we all miss him terribly on earth, it brings comfort to now he is with God and no longer sick. Special memories of happy times with Michael will bring all of us a smile and realizing he is just away with God brings peace.
Michael was always making jokes and making others laugh. My mom, Maryland said the one thing she thinks of when she thinks of Michael is his big hearty laugh. That is one of the things I most loved about Michael, is his sense of humor and I will miss him calling to talk to Frank as they would talk a good long while which was so nice. Occasionally, I would answer, and he would always say something funny to make me smile. Michael could seem to fix anything and had lots of talent in the area of engine repair, and we are so proud of him for having his own business and working hard. Frank said he is really going to miss Michael, and hearing his voice, talking with him and asking for his advice or talking about their respective work weeks and just simply, seeing how each other was doing, Frank always knew Michael was just a phone call or a drive away, always knowing his brother was there for him and he was there for Michael. Things will not be the same since God called you home. Rest in peace Michael, we all love you and will miss you dearly.
My fondest memories are of Michael when the family lived in Dawsonville and we were children. Michael and I were the same age. He was fun and always smiling, oh that Walker smile! It was a sweet time, all us younger children would run and play outside. I think Michael and I were old enough to be helping work but there we were playing. So much fun. That handsome face will be missed but we can join him with Jesus in our hearts.
I feel like I have lost my natural brother, I didn’t realize how close I had become to Mike these past 16 years until now that he is gone. I already miss him so much we have done so many things together , I wish I could share all of them with the family, but that would take days. Mike will forever be in my heart!
My heart goes out to Frank, Rabeth and the entire Walker family. I am so sorry for the loss of dear Michael. He must have been an amazing brother and friend to have so many who loved him so dearly. Praying for his family and friends during this difficult time.
